Foundations
Foundations is Forte Catholic's 10 week course on the basic teachings of Catholicism. Jennifer hosts several sessions a semester in partnership with Taylor Schroll of Forte Catholic and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Divine Revelation
In night two of our Foundations course, Jennifer Stavinoha shares about Divine Revelation: how God has spoken and speaks to His people. She shares about the two pillars of revelation: Sacred Scripture & Sacred Tradition. How do these two go hand in hand? Where did the Bible come from? Where does the ultimate authority on the Scriptures come from?
The Sacraments
In week four of our Foundations course, Jennifer Stavinoha gives us an introduction to the Sacraments and a deeper look into Baptism and Confession. How do we live out our Baptism today as adults? She looks to a couple of stories from the Gospels for our answers.
Mary, Mother of God
In week 8, Jennifer Stavinoha explains why the Catholic Church shows honor to Mary and how she helps us through prayer and example as the first disciple of Christ. She also walks through the Marian Dogmas and shares her personal experiences of building a relationship with our Lady.
